We are delighted to report that the Kilspindie Ladies (A) team has won the Sime Salver 2024.
The Salver was played for today in tricky conditions at North Berwick West golf course. Kilspindie entered two teams, randomly allocated (A) and (B). Both teams did well but Frances McFadzean, Letty Mackinnon, Fiona Lindsay and Chris Hochstrasser clinched it for Kilspindie.
Huge congratulations to all.
For those who perhaps don’t know the history, the Salver was donated in 1989 by a past Ladies County Captain, Anne Sime, for an annual East Lothian inter-club team competition. It is run by the participating clubs and is hosted by each in rotation. Kilspindie first entered in 1990 with two teams and first hosted in 1994. We have won the Sime Salver before, the last time in 2019, when it was played at KGC.
